Summary:

Oracle-NetSuite is looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Product Manager to join the ERP product management team. As a product manager working in the Financials domain area, you will work with scrum teams to deliver crucial product features for our customers. You will work with team members across many functional areas including research, design, engineering, testing, documentation, and support. You will work with customers to define business requirements, work with scrum teams to translate these to functional deliverables and be responsible for overall success of your product area.

An ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication, prioritization, and cross-functional team collaboration skills, as well as a user-centric approach to solving complex problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively define and drive the execution of new features that delight our customers.

  • Collaborate with customers and partners to gather detailed business requirements.

  • Partner with our research and design teams to flesh out customer/partner requirements.

  • Gather use cases, develop user stories, and document detailed product requirements that clearly articulate desired product functionality.

  • Work closely with scrum team members to deliver complete features.

  • Develop a broad understanding of the marketplace and competitive environment.

  • Manage the product backlog and prioritize product enhancements, customer and partner requests by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment.

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and Support to successfully rollout our products and ensure a great end-to-end customer experience.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 3 years of product management experience

  • Ability to analyze and break down complex business requirements and translate them into detailed requirements.

  • Agile development experience desired.

  • BA/BS in accounting, computer science, or business administration preferred.

Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, development, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from concept to release. Organize cross-team activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will:

  • Create product specifications.

  • Gather and analyze requirements to define product specifications and review design specifications.

  • Communicate product strategy and functionality.

  • Initiate and foster relationships with other groups.

  • Review product documentation and collateral.

  • Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex and will need independent judgment. You will become fully competent in own area of expertise. You may have a lead role in projects and/or supervise lower level personnel.

Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
