What You'll Do

In Cisco Managed Services (CMS), we enable the digital transformation of Cisco's most strategic customers by accelerating the adoption and maximizing the promise of Cisco technologies through a premium managed experience, while driving recurring revenue and profitable growth for Cisco.

CMS has the responsibility of aligning managed offers with cutting-edge technology, developing/operating a leading-edge managed services portfolio and executing effective service delivery. In short, managed services are instrumental in integrating the value of Cisco’s portfolio where the result is accelerated customer outcomes and Cisco sales growth.

To reinforce this objective, the CMS Product Management team is looking for an Offer Enablement Manager to implement aligned offer enablement motions including delivery alignment, new product introduction, and orchestration of an expansive feedback process. This role is a significant contributor and leader for the next generation managed services within the Cisco Customer Experience (CX) organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process ensuring that changes in the CMS portfolio are successfully adopted. Working with the New Product Implementation (NPI) team, you will ensure that offer collateral conveys the value of our offers, support sales enablement training. You will assist with engaging Business Development, Sales, partners, and customers to drive the strategy, offerings and value proposition of our portfolio.

Along with offer introduction activity, you will also work to ensure that changes to our portfolio are effectively adopted within service delivery. Through the facilitation of operational readiness assessments and gap analysis, you will ensure that our delivery organization is prepared to deliver the offers of the future.

As our offers are released in the market, you will establish and own the feedback process including customers, sales, partners, business units, and service delivery. In this capacity, you will ensure that feedback is consolidated and brought to bear in refining the strategic direction of our portfolio.

Who You'll Work With

The Cisco Customer Experience (CX) Managed Services (CMS) Product Management organization which defines and develops Cisco’s professional services that we sell and deliver to our customers and partners. Our customers rely on us to help them understand how to anticipate and respond to new threats, reduce complexity and fragmentation, and adapt with agility to changing business models.

Who You Are

  • You’re a subject matter expert in service and/or product enablement - the ability to incorporate the natural evolution of an offer portfolio into an enablement motion that minimizes friction and expedites results.

  • You have a cross-functional approach – ability to work with a broad array of stakeholders including product managers, delivery leaders, operations personnel, business development, and sales leaders to drive consensus.

  • You have experience in marketing and communication – a natural understanding of what stakeholders and end-users perceive as value, and the ability to translate this into compelling value propositions and enablement material

  • You’re a problem solver - excel at solving complex problems with analytical skills; you back up your recommendations with strong data.

  • You are a communicator – capable of conveying the most complex concepts in the simplest of terms.

  • You are intellectually curious - strong product instincts, creativity, and ability to channel multiple points of view.

Our minimum requirements are the following:

  • 8+ years of related information technology service delivery management and/or portfolio management

  • Proven experience with enablement motions with a background in services delivery and/or product management

  • Strong communication skills including verbal, written and presentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence actions of team members outside of function for improved team and service performance

Desired Skills:

  • 5+ years of post-undergraduate experience in a product or services delivery capacity

  • Experience with Agile development methodology

  • Experience with ITIL service management methodology

  • Well-developed teamwork, collaboration and project management skills

  • Advanced leadership skills including leading by influence
