Directs activities of workers and subcontractors concerned with construction of buildings or other construction projects by performing the following duties personally.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Support the Superintendent in providing jobsite leadership and direction.- Manage all assigned jobsite field management personnel to effectively perform their job requirements.- Contribute to the management of job activities in accordance with Robins & Morton's policies and procedures and within the bounds of the project contract.- Assist as needed in maintaining client and designer relations.- Assist in planning and setting up an efficient jobsite layout.- Arrange for and schedule inspections by government officials and consultants.- As required, manage all field operations of subcontractors to effectively install their portion of the work.- Maintain a working relationship with project subcontractors.- Ascertain and assure the quality of the work is in accordance with plans and specifications.- Maintain a clean, orderly jobsite.- Assist with prequalification and hiring of all field labor.- Manage all field labor to accomplish designated tasks.- Enforce the Robins & Morton Drug, Alcohol and Harassment policies.- Enforce jobsite safety procedures to comply with all OSHA regulations and the Robins & Morton Safety Program.- Maintain daily logs to document all jobsite activities and events.- Assist with implementation and maintenance of quality control programs and life safety checkout procedures. Management Responsibilities: This position manages subordinates and is responsible for the overalldirection, coordination and evaluation of employees. - Directly supervises non-supervisory employees such as carpenters and laborers and directs and schedules subcontractor's work.- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.Job Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Minimum of twoyears' healthcare construction experience.- Communication Skills - Good written and oral communications. Basic reading skills. Ability to leadcarpentry and labor crews and project their final labor costs.- Relationship Skills - Ability to communicate with owners and designers as required.- Computer Skills - Ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)- Mathematical Skills - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.- Reasoning Ability - Basic analytical knowledge. Ability to recognize and achieve quality work. Ability tocoordinate and complete many different activities in a timely manner. Ability to plan ahead as it relates to labor and material requirements.- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - OSHA 30 Hour preferred.Other Skills and Abilities:- Thorough understanding of blueprint reading.- Thorough knowledge of mechanical/plumbing and electrical systems.- Competent in all aspects of building layout, e.g., site, structure, partitions, etc.- Good carpentry skills. Knowledge of industry safety procedures and AHCA regulations.- Good tool and equipment management skills.- Ability to manage door, hardware and other contractor finish/installed items.- Can assume responsibility for major portions of project.- Thorough knowledge of scheduling.- Good working knowledge of all phases of a construction project, e.g., site
