Oracle Product Manager/Strategy 4-ProdDev in Rochester, New York
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the use anddeployment of Oracle Supply Chain Planning applications. The candidatewill have deep experience in the business environment and processes supportedby Oracle s SCP products.
Roles and Responsibilities
Interact regularly, primarily remotely, with the customer, their chosenimplementation partner, Oracle's Cloud Service Delivery Managers and key Oracleexecutives to provide oversight during the Oracle SCP Cloud implementation,ensuring all parties are aligned. This will include understanding the status ofthe implementation, discussion of any critical issues, and coming to agreementon appropriate action plans of resolution. You will act as a bridge between thecustomer team and Oracle Product Development as required. You will drive toclosure any issues that put the go-live at risk, including defining ownershipbetween the customer, the integration partner, and Oracle.
This is a high visibility position and you will typically be interacting with seniorexecutives, both within the customer s IT, sales, marketing and serviceorganizations and within Oracle. You will engage when the customer kicks-offtheir implementation and you will continue with the customer throughout theirrelationship with Oracle. Your objective is to ensure that the customerrealizes the business benefits they hoped to achieve with their Oracle SCP Cloud.
Experience and Skills
Work is non-routine and complex, involving the application of advancedtechnical/business skills in area of specialization. This is a leadingcontributor, individually and as a team member, providing direction andmentoring to others.
**Bachelor s Degree, MBA is a plus.
**At least 68 years of experience with Oracle SCP implementation.
**Experience leading the implementation of enterprise-class, mission-critical applications.
**Familiarity with the capabilities of modern analytics reporting tools isdesirable.
