Monitor signals from customer s alarm systems, and respond to signals by providing accurate information to the proper authorities. Maintain customer privacy and confidentiality. RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Monitor and respond appropriately to a variety of alarm signals. Response must be timely and accurate, with particular attention given to general procedures and special instructions. 2. Communicate effectively with internal and external customers. Follow all departmental and company policies and procedures. Complete required equipment checks and daily or weekend logs. 3. Answer multiple telephone lines. Respond to each caller in a professional and helpful manner while gathering information, troubleshooting, transferring calls, or putting callers into voice mail. 4. Follow procedures for service requests. Communicate and analyze customer inquiries and determine a correct course of action. Follow-up to assure customer expectations are met. 5. Ensure building security guidelines and Monitoring Response Center operations are followed according to company procedures and policies to provide a safe and productive environment. 6. Complete assigned duties as requested. Assist other departments and associates with special projects to support a teamwork atmosphere for the benefit of our customers and the company. 7. Participate in job related training programs and meetings to continually refresh and update knowledge.
