Job Description:

We are currently looking to staff our Banquet department for the busy fall season. We are in need of part time BANQUET SERVERS. Hours are flexible but mostly evenings and weekends. Pay starts at $2.66 per hour plus gratuity.


  • Flexibility - This is a demanding business and we look for flexibility with work days and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!

  • Experience –

  • Minimum of 6 months previous experience in food & beverage and passionately providing service to others.

  • High School graduate or equivalent.

  • Ability to transport up to 50 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.

  • Knowledge - Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette. Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.

  • People Person - The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.

  • Great communicator - Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing

  • A qualified applicant is a “people person” who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.


  • Set banquet tables to meet function specifications.

  • Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments.

  • Replenish beverages as necessary, and check with guests for overall satisfaction.

  • Ensure menu knowledge

  • Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area

  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service

  • Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner

  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships

  • Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.

  • Once banquet is complete, reset banquet room according to Captain's specifications to ensure the readiness of the room for the following function.

  • Any other duties as assigned by the Banquet Captain and/or Banquet Manager.


  • 330 Room Hotel and Conference Center with over 60, 000 sq. feet of meeting space.
