Solutions director that can assist our customers in visualizing their future

business through Oracle solutions.

About the Role

  • Responsible for globalsales consulting solution development and execution.

  • Manage the global demoinfrastructure and capability for the Communications Business Unit

  • Manage the demo andsolution build teams.

  • Engage with keycustomers as a SME (subject matter expert) to drive top revenue engagements

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of the application space,specifically for Communication Service Providers (CSP)

  • Strong background in BSS/OSS

  • Knowledge of CRM or CX solution forindustry

  • Experience managing sales consultingteams and pre-sales in general

  • Oracle solution knowledge is a plus.

  • SaaS solution selling

Detailed Description andJob Requirements

This role will be responsible for

enabling the global pre-sales team with demonstrable assets and solutions that

are aligned with our go-to-market. The

position will have direct management of the demo team, bid team, and global

solution architects to ensure that customers realize the value of an Oracle

based solution.

This role will also interact with

the Product Management and Marketing teams to influence and collaborate in

terms of solution direction and marketing plans.

This role will also be customer

facing for select customer engagements where expertise is needed in ensuring

customer success.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to Travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
