This position supports Collections360, a new on premise default management platform for collections work flow and post charge off recovery operations. The application his heavily configurable for meeting the needs of the default management operation. The position conducts and may lead the configuration, testing, and/or release of application/software solutions into the production environment. Focuses on complex changes with a high number of integration points. Performs customized coding (configuration tables), software integration, analysis, configuration of solutions, and/or usage of toolsets to accomplish tasks. May audits hardware and software before and after implementation of the release package. Ensures coordination among relevant resources, including product owners, developers, testers, and production support engineers in the deployment of complex changes. Ensures acceptance, including business sign-off. Creates technical designs and implements complex solutions into environments.
Communicates project schedules, status and issues to ensure project awareness. Applies in- depth knowledge of application/software deployment and an understanding of best practices. Typically leads moderately complex projects and participates in larger, more complex initiatives. Solves complex technical and operational problems. Acts as a resource for teammates with less experience. May have people management responsibilities for a small team.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in and 5 years of experience in application development, deployment, or production support or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function. Ability to plan and manage projects. Ability to solve complex problems by applying best practices. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information.
Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Banking or financial services experience. Demonstrated knowledge of one or more or the following: Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, ETL tools, ERP systems, RAD/JAD, Client/Server, Unix, Distributed (e.g. JAVA, JEE, .Net, Middleware, Web Services), Mainframe, Specialties (e.g. Pega, FileNet, WebSphere, IVR, Configuration Management). Agile methodologies and knowledge of Agile release practices. Experience releasing code on demand in an agile environment. Experience with DevOps and using tools like TFS to release code.
