Responsible for managing the daily activities of a mortgage loan operations area. May be responsible for management cross-functionally - to include processing, underwriting and closing. May also include management of data entry, record keeping, research, report writing, customer service, escrow and/or account reconciliation. Perform other duties such as staff training, policy implementation, and procedures development. Depending upon level, may manage Group Leaders, Processing Supervisors, Underwriting Supervisors and/or Closing Supervisors.
Prod Ops Supervisors and Leaders: Primary responsibilities include insuring client satisfaction. Other responsibilities include organizing, analyzing, compiling, interpreting and reporting data to improve operating procedures and/or related systems. Administers policies and procedures to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, as well as compliance with various regulatory, investor, governmental or corporate requirements. Serves as a liaison with sales, and operational managers to insure smooth file flow and client satisfaction.
If Supervisory responsibility: Interviews, hires, trains, mentors, and evaluates teammates. Coordinates work flow for assigned teammates, sets workflow deadlines and ensures proper procedures are followed. Monitors teammates for adherence to internal and external client touch points and communication matrix; serves as first escalation point for client service issues. Provide superior service to our client base as well as our internal staff.
Responsible for very effective and efficient mortgage originations fulfillment/underwriting and closing operations. Ensuring that all our Company credit policy and investor requirements are met. Partner to sales leadership in delivering an excellent customer experience. Manages multiple LOBs (mortgage and consumer). Works with compliance and meets with and responds to audit issues. Participates in strategic planning discussions regarding fulfillment sites, workflow and processes. Entire campus management teams reports to Site Manager.
- 15 years mortgage underwriting, consumer lending underwriting, sales and credit experience.
- 10 years of management experience in a centralized production environment.
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience.
Must possess effective communication and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management experience.
- Ability to provide recommendations to Management regarding revenue enhancements and efficiency opportunities within the centers.
