POSITION SUMMARY

According to departmental policies and professional standards performs, and reviews various complex clinical laboratory procedures in one or more sections of Laboratory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. A Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology or related field, in Compliance with the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act & Amendments (CLIA)

  2. Certification as a Medical Technologist by a nationally recognized certification agency is required or Eligible for national certification as an MT/CLS or Categorical Certification in the related clinical laboratory discipline.

  3. Previous experience in clinical laboratory is preferred.

  4. As a condition for continued employment, all laboratory employees are required to certify annually that they have read and agree to comply with the current version of the Laboratory Corporate Responsibility Program, as evidenced by successful completion of a Bon Secours Laboratory Compliance Training Post Test.
