Golder has a new opportunity for a junior-level Facilities Assistant to join our Business Support team on a full-time basis based in Melbourne.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
Working with the Business Support Manager & Facilities Coordinator to implement facility initiatives.
Assisting employees with relocation of office furniture.
Assisting with the setup of new starter’s computers, workstations and PPE.
Ensuring the building areas are always in a clean and safe state.
Checking, cleaning & maintaining levels of kitchen consumables every day.
Assisting with meeting room & AV set-up.
Assisting with coordination of contractor work key services e.g. Electrical, Plumbing, etc.
Verification of invoices for work undertaken & raising purchase orders where required.
Assisting with the service and maintenance of our company fleet.
Maintenance of accurate records of servicing, rego, issues of the company fleet.
Ad-hoc tasks where required.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
This role would suit someone who is looking at taking the first step in a facilities role
An understanding of PPE and safety equipment will be advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated people and customer service skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.
High attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
Current unrestricted driver’s license.
Exceptional organisational skills.
