We are looking for a qualified Industrial Hygienist to perform the following: Provide professional safety technical and field support for the Waste and Fuels Management Project. Provide subject matter expertise pertaining to safety topical areas, support field implementation of safety and health program requirements, and maintain a strong field presence during project work activities. Conduct routine surveys and inspections of work areas, project level audits, incident investigations, and gather information and data as may be required. Participate in work planning and hazard analyses process, event critique meetings, and corrective action management. Develop safety related documents including but not limited to fall protection work permits, confined space entry permits, safety inspection reports, heat stress evaluations, safety briefings, miscellaneous safety reports, incident investigations, correspondence, and communications. Assist in the integration of Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS)/Voluntary Protection Program (VPP); support implementation of 10 CFR 851. Provide support to the company in safety program requirements. Develop and implement effective and efficient methods for controlling and eliminating occupational health hazards. Provides input/interface into the job hazard analysis processes and perform exposure monitoring as required. Candidate shall possess the requisite knowledge and experience to operate industrial hygiene instrumentation for the purposes of monitoring and sampling the work environment to evaluate potential worker exposures.
