Dendreon Corporation Sr. Director/Executive Director Corporate Account Managers in Remote, United States

The Sr. Director/Executive Director Corporate Account Managers is responsible for national vendor account management for Dendreon's key stakeholders Commercially, This position will drive the strategic account business and financial plan by establishing the Corporate Account Management (CAM) team targets to meet company objectives while maintaining positive client relationships. This position leads the CAM team at the national level. Fulfills reaching revenue targets assigned on a quarterly and annual basis. This position reports to the CCO- Chief Commercial Officer.

  • Develops and implements a national business plan to maximize business opportunities and achieve/exceed corporate account goals through growth

  • Promotes a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements and expectations by educating and developing rapport with external customers

  • Develops annual plans in support of organization strategy and objectives

  • Identifies trade, customer opportunities and insights through analytics to develop plans that will drive for results

  • Leads two National Directors and indirectly responsible for all CAM employees nationally

  • Provides coaching an mentoring that includes development plans, training, resources and opportunities for the team

  • Acts as the liaison between customers and internal teams ensuring clients' requirements are met

  • Builds strong client and internal company relation ships with senior leadership

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales and marketing or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience, with prove track record in sales or corporate accounts in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or Medical Device markets

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading and developing sales or corporate account teams

  • Proven track record of executive/C-level relationship development, written and verbal executive communication

  • Excellent Leadership skills, with proven ability to develop a high-performance , customer focused and responsive teams

  • ability to effectively network and collaborate with peers in other functions and with colleagues in other businesses

  • Proven track record in managing growth business in complex and competitive markets

  • Strong business acumen and use of business analytics to prioritize, lead an influence

  • The position requires frequent travel (50% or more) to customers within North America and to internal sites
