Verizon Connect is a division within Verizon’s IoT (Internet of Things) product organization, focusing on the future of the connected driving experience. Responsibilities associated with the position include:
Modifying presentations, demos, and talk tracks as needed based on client industry.
Presenting solutions to new prospects to meet business needs and represent ROI.
Planning and prioritizing activities and sales pipelines for Business Development Reps to achieve goals with an emphasis on team management, productivity, and accurate forecasting.
Maintaining a thorough working knowledge of all solutions offered and awareness of the competition (e.g., market share, pricing, services offered).
Meeting regularly with team members either individually or in groups to provide feedback, coaching, and direction for daily sales activities.
Directing the presentation of the company’s solutions through web demonstrations and occasional visits at prospects’ locations.
Communicating and collaborating with other departments.
Completing all required documentation and reporting, including call and meeting activity, forecasting and bids, and proposals within assigned territory.
Working closely with referral partners, such as Verizon Wireless Reps, to capture additional business in the accessible market.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
Three or more years of experience in business-to-business inside sales.
Fluency in English.
Even better if you have:
A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline.
Strong contact management skills.
Strong consultative and solution selling skills.
Working technical knowledge of SaaS and Cloud Computing.
Experience selling software solutions.
