SUMMARYThe Training Specialist is responsible for enabling the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Training Department. This role will manage eventworkshop planning, participant registration, participant travel, materials procurement, and room setup for training workshops.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Manage the planning and execution of multiple events and workshops to ensure a meaningful and memorable experience for participants.Design and manage registration processes and systems for workshops.Effectively manage participant travel and accommodations that meet the needs of the participants.Responsible for spending within department budget of over $1 Million.Be available nights and weekends for travel emergenciesunforeseen changes during every workshop.Cultivates and manages relationships and timely communications for approximately 2,000 Field Leaders annually to include workshop registrations, travel arrangements, class schedules, participant concerns, and program feedback.Maintain material and supply inventories to ensure adequate supplies are on-hand when needed.Responsible for procuring miscellaneous training tools and supplies.Be responsible for timely and accurate reporting of all workshop expenses.Host weekly dinner with all participants.Manage and schedule rooms used for workshops.Provide customer service and support for participants, field partners, and trainers, for current and future events.Establish and maintain relationships with vendor partners, including hotels, caterers, venues, suppliers, and travel agents.Lead the facilitation of weekly section of workshops to introduce participants to the Operations Support Team.Be present and available at training programs to ensure program is running smoothly and respond to participant and trainer needs.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
