Credit Suisse is subject to Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) requirements, which are used by the US Federal Reserve Bank to watch over covered companies’ capital adequacy, capital distribution and capital planning process under various base and stress economic scenarios. The CCAR Projections team is part of the Capital Stress Testing/CCAR Group. As a member of this team you will be coordinating the firm's design and implementation of processes and systems that will enable Credit Suisse to enhance its capital management processes. In particular you will work with the Global Markets, Investment Banking & Capital Markets, International Wealth Management, Strategic Resolution Unit, and Infrastructure/Corporate Center teams to make sure that respective businesses/functions develop robust methodologies to forecast their future business results under various economic scenarios.

You'll be part of the central CCAR projections team that will be delivering the Balance Sheet, PPNR and RWA projections processes, methodologies and infrastructure. You will also be performing the aggregation and analysis of projections during CCAR cycles. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • We maintain Projections Aggregation and Collection Engine (PACE) as a BAU stress testing tool. The tool has to be periodically updated with FRB changes to support the FR Y-14A Regulatory Report submission for CCAR. This requires that the 14A schedule and business hierarchies are current on a quarterly basis.

  • You will ensure PACE supports Line of Business (LOB) requirements for collecting projections at the level of granularity requested by LOBs.

  • Collect business requirements for PACE enhancements and secure that you accurately communicate the requirements to the PACE Change & IT teams on time.

  • Liaise with PACE Change and PACE IT during the development process to ensure proper requirements development.

  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that PACE enhancements are delivered as agreed.

  • Provide training to PACE users semi-annually and provide ongoing support through the projection cycles.

  • Perform data reconciliations on a quarterly basis and assist projections data reconciliations and analytics throughout the submission cycles including data-uploads on their behalf.

  • Perform JoP adjustments and true-ups as needed.

  • Ensure that the Projections model execution platform (ProPL) data requirements are delivered accurately and on time.

  • Handle the PACE runbook during the submission cycle.

  • Assist with projections coordination during submissions cycle.

  • You have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a sell-side institution with exposure to P&L, Risk and financial accounting. CCAR experience is desirable.

  • Do you have an excellent academic background/bachelors in a scientific or business major? (preferred).

  • Do you have deep understanding of broker dealer and investment banking businesses including the usage of balance sheet and the drivers of revenues and expenses?

  • Do you have deep understanding of IT database concepts and structure?

  • You have substantial analytical mindset: ability to analyze specific business problems, propose potential solutions, and participate with confidence in discussions around the most appropriate recommendation.

  • Have you worked in one of the following areas: Capital Management, Information Technology, Financial Planning & Analysis, Risk, Treasury, Financial Accounting, Product Control or Business Management?

  • You have excellent organizational, communication and attention-to-detail skills.
