Job SummaryReporting to the VP, Segment Solutions, this role will be responsible for developing and executing Segment focus area related training content and materials for the field sales team, digital marketing campaigns, and interfacing with Portfolio Management to ensure that Segment needs are being met to ensure profitable growth.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (List in order of importance)

Plan, manage, and lead Segment Sales trainings and monthly Segment Calls

Engage with portfolio management to ensure alignment on key Segment needs

Drive segment strategy with key supplier partners, including attending supplier Quarterly Business review and supplier strategy sessions

Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns aligned to Segment Focus areas, track and report on results.

Execute the programs by communicating them to the field / customer facing organizations in an organized systematic manner, track adoption and scorecard the progress, maintaining an eye to the ROI of the program.

Support regional field sales meeting by championing Segment Focus Areas and gathering feedback from the field (voice of customer)

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

  • BS in life science or related domain

  • Minimum 6-8 years experience

  • Field sales experience a plus

  • MBA a plus

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)

Very strong financial and analytical skills

Ability to cull critical information from multiple data sources and interpret the information

Ability to translate the analysis to actionable programs Knowledge of sales process, deal structures and financial levers preferred

Knowledge of products and customers in the E&MR, Healthcare, and Government Segment preferred

Strong relationships across the field sales organization

Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in working in sales, product pricing, or financial data and with the sales process or deployments, or marketing

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to multi task, manage multiple deadlines and prioritize work

Strong MS Office Suite skills, including Excel and databases required

Knowledge of QlikView preferred

15% Travel
