Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with customer support, production operations and developers to troubleshoot customer problems.
Debug complex software to identify bugs and recommend fixes to dev teams.
Work with QA organization to test hot fixes and releases.
Provide 3rd level support and resolve issues related to installations, implementation, deployment, functionality and usage of all RSi products.
Conducts technical training and assist co-workers.
Maintains and Expands working knowledge of all RSi products.
Help with Incident troubleshooting root cause analysis. Identify changes and differences that caused an incident, or predict which ones will impact future issues.
Assist other engineering and development teams to resolve application to platform integration / deployment / scalability issues for both IaaS and PaaS cloud services.
As part of a global support team triage and remediate public cloud infrastructure / deployment issues and assist with application support engagements as needed.
M.S. Degree in CS/Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering is preferred. B.S degree will be considered with substantial support experience.
2-3 years of experience as developer/QA/Support Engineer.
Highly organized, with an ability to prioritize time sensitive assignments.
Strong analytical and technical skills and demonstrated ability to creatively solve complex problems
Experience working with Microsoft BI tools (Power BI ..) is a big plus.
Strong data warehouse background supporting terabytes of data.
Excellent SQL knowledge.
Experience with Linux, Scripting (Powershell or AzureCLI, CLI, Bash) is required.
Prior development experience in Python or Java in Linux environment is a plus.
Working knowledge of using monitoring, logging tools (Prometheus, EFK stack) to identify application performance issues and incident troubleshooting.
Experience in deploying and supporting enterprise software applications is a plus.
Understanding of modern, cloud native applications, micro-services and Cloud Operations.
Experience with Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and the Kubernetes cluster management tools (kubectl, kubeadm...) is highly desired.
Understanding of DevOps and Continuous Integration/Deployment in the cloud is important.
Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
Willing to learn and adopt the new technologies quickly.
