Department Information

The Health Sciences Division in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences provides student preparation and support for two degrees; BS in Health Sciences and MS in Athletic Training.

Position provides professional support to the Athletic Training Program and Health Sciences Program at CSU-Pueblo and assistance to the Athletic Training Program Director. The position will assist with accreditation, budgeting, purchasing, clinical coordination and marketing strategies for the Health Sciences and Athletic Training Program.

Description of Job

Primary Duties

  • Assist Director of Athletic Training Program Director with accreditation expectations required by CAATE including data entry and summary data outcomes, assisting with reports, serves on the program planning committee, coordinating documentation of clinical sites and other duties as required by the Director of Health Sciences.

  • Addresses CAATE budgetary requirements, contributes to decision making on budget documents and prepares reports for the Program Directors.

  • Assist with annual program assessment including strategic planning, data collection, analysis and report preparation.

Ancillary Duties

  • Coordinates recruitment materials and meets with prospective students and/or parents.

  • Assist with annual program assessment including strategic planning, data collection, analysis and report preparation for Health Sciences Division.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Budgeting knowledge

  • Developing written report knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Health Science or related field

  • CAATE accreditation site knowledge

  • Working knowledge of Curriculum development and/or Budget development for Athletic Training and Health Science Programs
