Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:

  • The Manager is responsible for the revenue (gross to net) reporting and management, including revenue adjustment, credit review, etc., and collaborates with inter-companies;

  • This position is also responsible for tax compliance, foreign loan and treasury support of all entities in China;

  • Lead internal control work for business assurance and support corporate internal audit;

  • Perform routine collaboration with outsourcing tax service provider, banks, and internal tax and treasury team to deliver work with quality;

  • Support business as partner in Controllership, deliver on-field support of routine transactions to make the process smooth and efficient; coordinate communication as partner to commercial team;

  • Apply technical knowledge of SOx, tax and treasury to routine or project-based work.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop great business understanding to ensure full alignment between business and controllership requirements;

  • Support the Controller in ad hoc projects, including credit card project, ERP project, BRO close-out project, etc.;

  • Effectively engaging with stakeholders internally, such internal audit team, and stakeholders externally, such as banks and tax/ finance authorities;

  • Pre-audit work monitoring to improve financial efficiency and control financial risks;

  • Provide business support in analysis and problem-solving of routine transactions;

  • Deliver on-field support to inquiries by staff and coordinate communication with business.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Essential:

  • BA or BS degree in accounting or equivalent with accounting qualification is preferred;

  • Extensive management experience in project management is required; tax and treasury experience a plus;

  • Experience in healthcare is a must; US corporate finance experience is an advantage;

  • An in-depth knowledge of Oracle or equivalent local ERP system and proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook, and Word);

  • Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English.

  • A result oriented individual, with a strong work ethic with a positive, "can-do" attitude;

  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability with high levels of integrity, self-driven in delivering work with quality;

  • Good communication skill, able to deliver complex messages to various internal and external customers.
