development office in Prague. We are owned by Oracle but run as a

separate business unit - this allows us to move like a startup while

having the stability of a large company. We create a product that helps

our customers personalize their customer communications. As an early

hire into this office you'll have the opportunity to directly contribute

Required Skills/Experience:

  • First level Scrum Master certification (PSM I, CSM)

  • Experience filling the Scrum Master role for at least one year

  • Goodskills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situationalawareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, andincreasing transparency

  • Knowledgeof numerous well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in theintentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous Burndowntechniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc)

  • The ability to distinguish between what “is Scrum” what is “not Scrum”

  • Experience with Atlassian's JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience working in SaaS and PaaS environments

Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus):

  • Experiencebeing on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts(different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures,co-located vs. distributed, etc)

  • Trackrecord of continued and recent education in Scrum, including advancedcertification, training, conferences, user groups, self-study, etc.

  • Knowledge of other approaches discussed in the Agile space: XP, Kanban, Nexus, LeSS, SAFe, Crystal, FDD, etc

  • Knowledgeand/or experience with widely successful Agile techniques: UserStories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing,Automated Testing, Agile Games

  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team

  • Experienceapplying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques forfilling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example:numerous Burndown techniques, numerous Retrospective formats, handlingbugs, etc)

  • Previous experience as a collaborative leader

  • Excellent communication and mentoring skills

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product.

Manage the development and implementation process of a specific company product involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or existing products. Plan and direct schedules and monitor budget/spending. Monitor the project from initiation through delivery. Organize the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget constraints. Assign and monitor work of systems analysis and program staff, providing technical support and direction.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 5 years of project management, product design or related experience preferred.
