Please note that this is a part-time position (20 hours per week).

The Front Office Coordinator serves a key role in the Department of Communication through coordinating the graduate program (working with students from first inquiry through graduation) supervising the department’s student workers, providing faculty and student support and through working closely with the department’s full-time Lead Staff member.

Minimum Qualifications:

Intermediate word processing and spreadsheet software.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet goals and deadlines.

Strong organizational skills.

Adaptable and capable of learning new systems and software technologies; and manage data content for the department.

Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment and work well with/assist a diverse clientele.

Self-directed, proactive and demonstrated ability to initiate activities and address working solutions.

Successful completion of a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Datamaster and Drupal.

Experience using Banner.

Experience with tracking databases.

Bachelor’s degree.
