Currently, Moda Health is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant for our Sales and Services department for our Benefit Help Solution (BHS) entity in our Portland location. This position will provide administrative support to the BHS Sales and Account Services Manager, assists in marketing by preparing proposals and contracts form established set of materials as well as tracking and updating contract and renewal log for existing clients.

Primary Functions:1. Complete accurate internal paperwork for changes, renewals and terminations to ensure external timelines are met and/or exceeded.2. Respond to a high volume of emails and phone calls from external group clients, agents and internal customers to provide excellent customer service, accurate information and timely responses.3. Prepare enrollment packets, welcome letters, welcome packets and group administrative kits.4. Prepare internal renewal paperwork and cancellation notices.5. Receive and process internal and external correspondence for Sales and Account Services team.6. Prepare and send out delinquency notices to clients and agents to ensure all letters are mailed within the time frame outlined in the group contract.7. Act as a liaison between various internal departments and the Sales and Account Services team when they are in the field.8. Support Sales and Account Services objectives by preparing accompanying sales and service materials for the Service Representatives when needed.9. Provide back up support for other Sales and Account Services assistants as needed.10. Cover receptionist as needed.11. Perform other duties as assigned.Are you ready to be a betterist? Required Skills

  1. At least 6 months office experience preferably in the Health Insurance Industry.

  2. Typing ability of 35 wpm net.

  3. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  4. Working knowledge of Moda Health medical and dental products preferred.

  5. Strong customer service skills.

  6. Ability to learn underwriting policies and procedures to assist with submission of small and large groups.

  7. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.

  8. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented to handle large work volumes.

  9. Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  10. Work well under pressure with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.

  11. Maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image.

  12. Ability to come into work on time and on a daily basis.

  13. Must possess a strong and positive work ethic.
