Robert Bosch LLC seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer at its facility located at 15000 N. Haggerty Road, Plymouth, MI 48170. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will design high-level architecture through block diagrams. S/he will prepare schematic design for embedded systems in automotive electronics. S/he will validate component bench level. S/he will interface with customers on requirements. S/he will interface with internal Bosch design groups including mechanical design and software. S/he will interface with internal Bosch business groups to support quoting activities including sales and purchasing. REQS: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related field, plus 3 years of work experience with designing, developing, testing, and integrating electrical control units. Additionally, the applicant must have 3 years of professional work experience with: (1) embedded infotainment, cluster, HUD, or Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in the area of hardware design; (2) hardware requirements definition, design, development, testing, software integration, and validation throughout all phases of the development lifecycle; (3) embedded system architecture and interface including: CAN, Ethernet, MOST, LVDS, and LIN; (4) using component selection, analog, digital, and system on chip; (5) circuit design and simulation using EDA tools and defining layout guidelines for high speed PCBs; (6) testing, debugging, characterizing, and validating hardware boards utilizing electronic equipment such as Logic Analyzer, Oscilloscopes, signal and pattern generators, network analyzers, and logic state analyzers to ensure hardware design functions; and (7) system debugging support and JTAG emulation using debugging tools and CAN interface debugging and analysis using vector CAN analyzing tools.
