The Contracts Attorney will work with ECRI Institute's legal and business teams to support standard and non-standard transactions for ECRI Institute's programs and services. Experience in healthcare, business associate agreements, and government contracting is desirable. This is a face-paced position and the candidate must be able to turn-around high quality work in a timely and professional manner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work closely with leadership, sales, finance, human resources, and business staff to understand and ensure that our contracts promote ECRI Institute programs and objectives. Be involved with and advise on various types of transactions, ranging from standard membership programs to non-standard alliances to government contracts. Draft, review, and negotiate terms and conditions in ECRI Institute's membership, licensing, contractor, business associate, and other business agreements; interface directly with clients and business partners. Support preparation of RFP/RFI responses in both the public and private sector; understand and comply with government FAR clauses. Develop and revise existing contracts/contract templates as needed in order to meet legal/internal requirements. Understand and administer the contract management and customer relations management systems. Prepare contract status reports as needed. Keep current with ECRI Institute's policies, procedures, and conflict of interest rules. Research law and regulation, develop relevant policies and procedures, and guide the organization on compliance matters. Perform other duties and support other projects/research as requested.
