Do you want to make an impact and help change the world? As a Splunk Sales Intern, you’ll be a valuable resource to our sales team. This is an opportunity to work at Splunk that is changing the way information supports business decisions and positively impacting companies all over the world. From day 1, you'll gain exposure into all roles related to our unique sales cycle including working directly with a sales mentor. You will work directly with Spunk’s Sales Teams such as Inside Sales Representatives and Regional Sales Managers, support functions such as Sales Engineers and gain understanding of the various roles and their vital importance in the sales cycle. You will learn about Best Practices, Quote to Order and Marketing. In addition, you will have access to an Executive at Splunk and participate in roundtable discussions. You will gain hands on experience on how to prospect, set send campaigns and set appointments for customers of Splunk and businesses that have never used Splunk before. You will work alongside the Sales team and experience firsthand how our Sales teams engage and act as advisors and advocate for our products and services. You will help identify various issues that many of our customers encounter and help assure complete customer happiness through all stages of the sales process.
As you start your sales career you will gain firsthand insight into our groundbreaking technology, features, solutions and applications and help identify new prospective customers and help the team with appointments.
You will answer basic questions from prospects/customers in an accurate and expedient manner, and help to advance issues or questions that need further attention to your sales team and/or Splunk technical support.
You are extremely organized, analytical, creative and adaptive in your approach to problem solving. You know how to "work smarter, not harder"
You should possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate clearly and professionally.

Completed BS/BA degree program in technology, business, or related fields
