Job Summary:

The Director, Strategic HR Partner leads key human capital strategies for all areas of the system and ensures business priorities are effectively aligned with the Geisinger Family Strategy. This role reports directly to the AVP/VP, Human Resources and is responsible for local delivery and execution of system-wide HR strategies and programs with an expertise in Employee Relations.

Competencies and Skills:

Strong familiarity of all HR functions and domains (e.g., employee relations, talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation, etc.)

Excellent communication and presentation skills that relate to all levels of the organization

Strong consulting and project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams with competing priorities

Ability to multi-task with strong attention-to-detail, deal with ambiguity and achieve results in a fast-paced environment

Education and or Experience:

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required; Master’s degree in human resources management or business administration preferred

Preferred Experience:

3 years of leadership experience

10+ years of experience working within human resources, including significant experience in employee relations

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

Work is typically performed in an office environment.
