Seegrid UX Strategist in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Seegrid currently has an opening for a UX Strategist. In this role, you will lead experience design for Seegrid solutions by guiding a design team to research cross-product, end-to-end journeys and forming a strategy to transform those customer and user journeys. Throughout the design process, you will partner with customers and key stakeholders across the organization including product management, engineering, marketing, and customer services teams to advance the customer journey.
Engage with customers to plan and conduct user research and feedback
Evaluate current customers' journeys and form strategies to transform those journeys
Lead and prioritize work for a team of UX Designers responsible for designing end-to-end, cross-persona, cross-product solutions
Facilitate design sprints, stakeholder mapping, service blueprinting, affinity mapping, journey mapping, ideation sessions, user story mapping, user testing, and other UX activities to synthesize research, gather insights, develop a strategy, and scope those strategies into testable and shippable value increments
Partner with product managers, product owners, engineers, product marketing, and other internal stakeholders to ensure constant communication and collaboration throughout the product development process
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
A demonstrated track record of leading design projects with clear goals, measured outcomes, and shipped quality software across web and mobile (bonus for robotics or hardware)
A passion for sharing research insights through compelling storytelling
Ease framing strong rationales for design decisions that persuade peers and executives
Experience planning and facilitating customer engagements for research and feedback
Experience conducting field studies, survey, usability testing, and multivariate or A/B testing
Experience facilitating collaborative design workshops
A degree in human computer interaction, social sciences, computer science, industrial design, or a related field
Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
