Seegrid currently has an opening for a Technical Specialist on our Implementation Team. The Technical Specialist will provide post-sales integration support for autonomous vehicle software, hardware, and server systems. Technical Services engages in pre and post-sales customer discussions, describing the form, functionality, and integration of Seegrid systems into existing customer infrastructure. Successful candidates will interact with various levels of customer IT, InfoSec, and networking teams to communicate the technical requirements, network design, and protocols necessary to leverage Seegrid Vision Guided systems.
Engaging customer IT in post-sales environment to coordinate installation and allocation of IT resources; server network (physical/wireless), virtual computing resources
Monitor daily progress of pre/active implementation technical concerns; complete tasks as assigned, and create tasks as needed to effectively track work performed, and time consumed
Provision, configuration, and support of Linux based servers, both physical and virtual
Coordinate and perform Seegrid software upgrades when available, to improve existing/future applications
May provide real technical support for Seegrid Implementation Team and/or customer IT during testing/implementation
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
Associate Degree, Technical School Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
Work experience in a remote service role a bonus, supporting robotics or other high-tech industry a plus
intermediate-to-expert understanding of command line Linux - Debian and RPM distros
Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral with the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers, and partners
Ability to handle, and prioritize accordingly, multiple simultaneous tasks often in tight timelines and deliver success
Familiarity with industry standard VPN clients, both Windows and Linux variants
Experience with VMWare ESXi Hypervisor, and other virtualization technologies
Familiarity with cloud instantiated technologies: AWS, GCE
Familiarity with Wifi and physical network protocols, configuration, connection methods, and hardware (Windows/Mac/Linux)
Occasional travel may be required
Ability and willingness to obtain, and maintain, security clearances for customer premises and network access
