Seegrid currently has an opening for an Implementation Engineer. The Implementation Engineer is responsible for the design and deployment of Seegrid VGV automated material handling solutions. The Implementation Engineer acts as the onsite lead for the implementation while ensuring the application is operating as designed. Ultimately, receiving customer acceptance of the installed solution.
The Implementation Engineer must be personally engaging with customers at all levels, love new challenges, be energized by being on the road, and have methodical and meticulous problem solving skills.
Responsible for owning and designing the technical solution that will be implemented, along with completion of the functional specification document
Responsible for ensuring that the field engineer implements the functional specification as designed
Assist in training routes on an as needed basis
Responsible for complete validation of the designed solution. This includes, but is not limited to, all programmed routes, Supervisor rules and logic, configuration, switches, maps and stations
Attend weekly update calls to report on the status of the project
Application design POC for site leadership
Tasked with updating all necessary documentation, post implementation. This includes the functional specification, route map, Supervisor rules, etc., and capture any necessary credentials for Supervisor access

Become Seegrid technology subject matter expert
REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE
BS in engineering or equivalent work experience as an Application Engineer in the material handling industry
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS office
Simulation experience a plus
3+ years of pre-sales engineering experience in the material handling industry
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in manufacturing or warehouse optimization preferred
Knowledge of warehouse management system integration with material handling equipment preferred
Demonstrated ability to evaluate customer needs and problems and translate them into comprehensive sales proposal materials
Excellent strategic and analytical thinking
Effective organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple projects simultaneously
Able to deal with complexity and change
Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization, customers and partners
Self-starter who works well in high pressure situations
Able to travel 70+% of the time including internationally as needed
