FREEMAN Client Solutions Manager - Event Technology Sales in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Freeman is seeking a Client Solutions Manager to develops relationships and solicits business with new and existing exhibit accounts. Oversees execution of projects, coordinating team efforts to achieve client vision. Grows opportunities with existing accounts by selling additional services. Solid understanding of the business and assigned accounts. This position may be located anywhere in the United States. Additional duties include:


  1. Sell to corporations and internal customers within an assigned market and/or segment

  2. Actively involved in selling to inside and outside customers, while maintaining and growing client relationships

  3. Capable of selling all Freeman Audio Visual solutions to a broad range of corporate clients

  4. Ascertain requirements, develop and present proposals to potential clients.

  5. Prepare presentation collateral materials and make stand-up presentations where appropriate, along with necessary follow up activities to complete sale.

  6. Up-sell current customers.

  7. Accept phone calls for call-in leads.

  8. Obtain future show/event schedule information from client and solicit appropriate future business.

  9. Perpetually expend effort toward developing new business.

  10. Quote prices and credit terms in compliance with Freeman policies and procedures.

  11. Entertain clients and prospects as necessary.

Account Management:

  1. Assist branch personnel with accounts when appropriate.

  2. Confirm jobs and follow-up appropriately with information to prepare service plan requirements.

  3. Inspect job site with local branch when necessary.

  4. Produce and review orders with project managers and branch personnel.

  5. Supervise jobs in progress as required.

  6. Follow-up and resolve customer complaints and collections when necessary.

  7. Cross-sell all Freeman services.


  1. Attend local and national industry meetings and functions as directed, and submit follow-up reports.

  2. Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.

  3. Record activities in company-provided CRM system.

  4. Submit an itemized expense report for approval per company policies.

  5. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with branch operations.

  6. Performs other duties as may be assigned.


  • Minimum three (3) + years of sales experience

  • Must be willing to consistently cold call and solicit new business

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications

  • Demonstrated drive for personal growth and commitment to succeed

  • Level requires the approval of the VP and Director


  • Bachelor's Degree
