Wells Fargo Enterprise Core Data Services delivers industry-leading premier provider of horizontal Data as a Service solutions across lines of businesses including client due diligence, cross sell/analytics, reference, common tools and services supporting data acquisition and normalization in all lines of business and customers within Wells Fargo. The goal of our platforms is to provide high-quality, standardized, innovative solutions to serve our core business needs in a consistent and efficient way.

As the Safety and Soundness Lead for Data Lake, you will be responsible for the full end-to-end operational management of the Data Lake platform in terms of Vulnerability & patch management, enterprise technology remediation activities, and end of life solutions. You will be the senior SME making sure all of Data Lake is in compliance with the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) policies and coordinate activities through development platform and EIT teams as required.

You will work within a small team of engineers in the Wells Fargo Platform and Application support team partnering with development teams, product owners, scrum masters, and with other technology centers of excellence. As a SME for this team, you will provide solutions for process, tooling and implementation improvements with a primary responsibility to manage operational risk in the environment and make sure we are meeting regulatory obligations.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operational sustainment and reduce risks in the eco system by aggressively pursuing safety and soundness type of actions not limited to vulnerability, patching, end of life and resiliency

  • Partner with Data Services Management regarding 24x7 support model and offshore resource management.

  • Provides leadership and accountability through a commitment to business partner satisfaction and incident/request resolution and fulfillment.

  • Manage and coordinate all Data Lake vulnerability events.

  • Produce service metrics to showcase sustainability and compliance for all TREX activities.

  • Manages continuous services improvements and drives innovation to ensure SLAs and OLAs for the critical business processes, applications and partner interfaces

  • Timely resolution to questions and technical requests including in-depth research and problem resolution. This also includes establishment of root cause analysis and lessons learned for each incident.

  • Maintain and update all Production related documentation (e.g. game plans, run books, procedures, processes).

  • Adherence to corporate standards, including Audit, Compliance, Security and risk Management.

  • Minimize overall production risks while maximizing team’s productivity.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of application development and implementation experience

  • 3+ years of data management experience

  • 4+ years of experience coordinating initiatives across multiple stakeholders
