Primary Responsibilities Operates ultrasonic diagnostic equipment to examine various parts of the body in order to study a wide variety of conditions (e.g., ensuring the physical health of an unborn baby, screening the body for cancer). Maintains patient records, keeps track of inventory, orders supplies, and maintains proper working order of equipment. Essential Functions Exhibits knowledge of human anatomy and physiology consistent with recognizing normal and abnormal conditions for preparation of reports.Obtains complete and accurate history relevant to the examination to be performed.Operates diagnostic imaging equipment in accordance with imaging modality processes and dept and hospital policies.Assists radiologists as needed (i.e. invasive procedures)Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.BachelorsARDMSBasic Life Support (BLS)New graduates accepted. Six months to one year of post registry preferred.
