Job Description Summary

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide oversight of regulatory clinical trial and compliance work in the department of Radiation Oncology. The project manager will work closely with major internal (PI, Director, IRB, CTSRMC/DOCM) and external (Sponsors, Facilities, CROs, Subcontractors, Collaborators) stakeholders to develop project plans and to coordinate submission of proposals. This position works closely with the Director of Clinical Research.The Department of Radiation Oncology is not in a position to sponsor for H1-B visa.

Job Description

Assist with the supervision of CRCs meeting regularly with study staff; monitor regulatory activities ensuring compliance and successful implementation of Phase I-III trials; Mentor and assist with on-boarding of new staff members; provide input on staff interviewing, hiring and performance management; assist director on budget development; oversee regulatory and compliance initiatives (submissions, prep of audits, audit responses, staff training and education); assist with data and regulatory queries as needed; assist Director with protocol review. Critical thinking, complex problem solving, time management , active listening and learning, strong written and verbal communications, people and project management and clinical research study experience are necessary skills needed to succeed in this position.

Technical skills required are MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

This position is contingent on funding.


Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 7 years of experience or Master's Degree and 3 to 5 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
