This position manages ongoing contract relationships and service delivery to clients for one or more accounts.

This function includes employees who are in dedicated on - onsite service roles. Jobs in this function may work closely with sales on renewals and upselling, but incumbents do not have specific sales goal accountability or primary responsibility to close sales. Account Manager Client Service jobs focused primarily on relationship and service management belong in this family; jobs with significant sales responsibilities or sales - related incentives (including 'OTH' plans) belong in a sales band.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate understanding of applicable systems / procedures in order to provide appropriate information to clients (e.g., workflows, claims processing systems, claims payment methodology)

  • Identify and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgment

  • Investigate claim and / or service issues as identified and communicate resolution to client

  • Work within established procedures

  • Influence others to meet expected service levels and deadlines

  • Work independently

  • Act as a resource for others

  • Serve as liaison between client and internal business leaders to ensure mutual understanding of needs and clear expectations by all stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) OR High School Diploma / GED (or higher) with 3+ years of PBM or related Healthcare or pharmacy benefits experience

  • 2+ years of client facing experience

  • Previous experience managing and leading projects (project enhancement work and / or process improvements)

  • 2+ years of PBM or related Healthcare or pharmacy benefits experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word (creating and editing documents), Microsoft Excel (general spreadsheet navigation and data entry) and Microsoft PowerPoint (creating and editing slides / decks)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Knowledge

  • Extensive Customer Service experience, analyzing and solving complex problems

  • RxClaim experience
