CJSeto Support Services, LLC, has a contintent opening for a System Administrator to provide task support to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific). SSCPAC has a requirement for professional and technical Information Technology (IT) System Administrators (SysAdmins) to support the physical and logical infrastructure of the Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E;) classified and unclassified networks.
Qualifications*:* System Administrator II - Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. May require a bachelor's degree with at least 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
A candidate in this this position has ability to work independently on typical assignments. This level of personnel generally has two to four years of professional experience in the field of expertise.
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. IAT Level II certification required, such as Security +
