Proofpoint Director, Advanced Technology Sales EMEA in Paris, France

We are seeking an exceptional Regional Director, Sales to join and lead our rapidly expanding team in the EMEA. In this role you will lead and coach a team of Advanced Technology Sales Specialists across EMEA identifying, developing, and retaining high talent who deliver value to the company’s business. You will play a hands-on role with the field sales organization in this customer facing and highly visible position, including direct participation in closing deals at key accounts.
Create and execute both strategic and tactical plans to significantly increase our revenue and market share in Advanced Technology products across EMEA
Lead a team of Sales Specialists selling the Cloud Security (CASB), Browser and Email Isolation, Zero Trust and DMARC authentication solutions and services.
Establish and maintain key regional customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base
Work closely with the regional sales teams’ management to define sales priorities and strategies, implement enablement plans, deliver and track results
Define partner plan and work with the channel to drive incremental revenue
Maintain up to date knowledge of company’s competitive positioning in the marketplace
Contribute to Advanced Technologies GTM, market positioning. Influence roadmaps.
Partner with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, and Support to close deals, increase awareness, drive revenue and adoption
What you bring to the team
Experience successfully leading high performing field sales teams spread over multiple country geography
Ideally have prior experience selling CASB, DLP, Web Proxy or related Cloud Security solutions
Strong knowledge of new and current technologies and trends specifically in the security industry
Experience of taking new and innovative products to market
Strong security industry contacts in the prospective customer and influencer communities
Outstanding consultative selling skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate the company’s value proposition
Strong business acumen with the ability to create a business plan, build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business
Experience building demand generation plans with marketing
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels
Strong capacity to influence and collaborate in a matrix environment
Fluent English, additional languages an advantage
