This role is divided into 3 main areas:1) Member Activation:o Develops member events and activities in region, leveraging ABC programs (Action Teams, Thrivent Builds and Thrivent Choice), workshops, and Thrivent Member Network (TMN) events2) Church / Community Engagement: o Builds relationships and engagement activity with Financial Representatives (FRs) in Christian churches and organizations; cultivate new relationships in key markets within regiono Building awareness of Thrivent – engaging members and potential members to “Come and See” more about our organizationo Action Teams, Thrivent Choice and other community programs3) Build awareness and collaborate on membership growth plans:o Collaborate with Directors and Regional Marketing Specialist to identify opportunities in the marketing plans of our financial professionals for church and community engagement. Educate and engage our New Financial Representatives (NFR) on the tax exempt programs and activities available to build a successful practice and serve their members. Support their prospecting activity with tax exempt resources, and provide leading practices for planning and follow up. o Model and support the NFR ability to share Thrivent and ways to join our Wise with Money Journey o Facilitate activities, events and workshops with FRs, office professionals and other support staff, to ensure events result in awareness and member growth opportunities and other connections to Thrivent.

Job Description

  • Work frequently and closely with the Regional Sales Leaders to develop and execute an effective business plan for key markets within the region and in conjunction with the TMN plan.

  • Growing new market opportunities for Thrivent through community engagement efforts.

  • Engage and collaborate with Financial Representatives in the region, to ensure their community engagement efforts in the Christian Community are designed for growth and success.

  • Work with FRs to meet Christian community leaders in order to promote Thrivent’s mission through volunteer opportunities, financial education in various formats, activities and events.

  • Thrivent generosity and community engagement programs, such as Thrivent Action Teams, Thrivent Choice and Thrivent Builds

  • Develops member events and activities in region, leveraging engagement programs, financial education workshops and Thrivent Member Network events.

  • Builds relationships and engagement activity locally by helping our financial representatives and field leaders engage with Christian churches and organization

  • Cultivates new relationships in key markets within the region.

  • Ability to travel up to 40% depending on geography (majority local travel, occasional overnight)

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Previous experience with Salesforce is preferred

  • Event/project management and execution

  • Must have own automobile to use for business purposes
