Role Summary:

The successful candidate will have a proven record of successfully selling services and complex solutions to large national and multinational companies in Canada. They will be self-starters who can identify trends and create new business opportunities with new prospects and existing customers. Goal focused they successful over achieve their sales goals quarterly and annual basis

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Develops new opportunities and relationships with national and multinational companies.

  • Researches, and develops sales pursuit plan for new accounts

  • Manages ongoing relationships with new and assigned customers at all levels in the account to capture future needs and improve customer satisfaction

  • Works closely with regional sales teams to create best in class customer sales experience

  • Works closely with Support teams to develop and present customer quarterly business reviews

  • Keeps current with CRM requirements of weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews

  • Attends and participates in sales meetings, tradeshows, training programs and seminars as required.

  • Maintains up to date knowledge on products and services in the fire and security industry

  • Draw on experience with the support of the team to drive request for proposals and tender responses from select customers.


  • University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration or related disciplines.

  • 5 + years in Fire or Security national sales

  • Proven national account experience.

  • Proven Business to business solutions selling experience

  • Demonstrated experience in the fire and security industry

  • Highly organized with ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Strong oral and written skills, bilingual English and French is an asset

  • Service mindset

  • Strong desire to be on a winning team

  • Positive outlook with high enthusiasm and creativity

  • Familiarity with ULC Standards, Building Codes, NFPA and other life safety information.
