Job Description:This position will be first level technical support via telephone, voicemail, and email to resolve a user's problem or service request. Position will track, monitor, and escalate calls and tasks as necessary within the HIS department. Position will also perform administrative tasks, equipment inventory, and remote support.Qualifications:This position requires excellent customer service skills, communications skills especially over the telephone, focused on listening. Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, the knowledge to use call tracking systems to log all trouble calls and follow up as necessary. Must be able to work independently, be self motivated, team oriented be detail oriented and have the ability to multitask.Must have Working knowledge of:Operating systems:Windows 7 and 10Microsoft OfficeMicrosoft Outlook and Exchange ServerComputer hardware such as hard drives, memory, video cardsHewlett Packard Laserjet printersMicrosoft Active Directory including account management, mailbox creationKnowledge a plus:Meditech Client/Server 6.15 and CernerVPN and remote access technologiesTCP/IP networking, LAN and WAN technologiesIdeal candidate will have high school diploma with some college and 1-2 years experience in first level technical telephone support. After hours on-call requirements (after approximately 6 months of employment) around once every 8 weeks. High school diploma/GED required.
