We are now recruiting for a Patient Registration Coordinator for
Centra Care Azalea Park
In this position you will register patients for medical treatment in a walk in facility, gather required information during registration by phone or direct interview. You will have the opportunity of utilizing knowledge of medical insurance including managed care, corporate accounts and workers' compensation (training provided). As a Patient Registration Coordinator, you will obtain needed authorizations and prepare patient billing; maintains all patient medical records, files and uphold patient confidentiality policies. You will answer all incoming calls and direct these calls to the appropriate party for resolution/action. You will also be responsible for sorting/distributing incoming mail and processing medical record's requests. This position requires you to remain current in all policies and procedures to ensure consistent quality of knowledge and performance.
Shift: Rotating 12 hour shifts, split Fridays, Alternate weekends and some holidays.
Location : Centra Care Azalea Park
High school diploma
Typing skills equal to 30-35 wpm
Proficiency in the performance of basic math functions
Capability of communicating professionally
An aptitude for strong organizational skills
Possess excellent customer service skills and have an overall positive, resourceful attitude.
Must be able to work under pressure and with high volumes of people.
