Develops relationships and solicits business with new and existing strategic exhibit accounts. Grows opportunities with existing accounts by selling additional services. Solid understanding of the business and assigned accounts.
Business Development Volume - $500k or more
Focuses on sales to organizations within an assigned customer market and/or segment.
Actively engages in the hunt. Makes a constant effort to find new business. Prospects customers through cold calls, networking, and/or referrals. Compiles and maintains list of prospective sales leads.
Sells all Freeman lines including but not limited to: carpet, furnishings, exhibit installation & dismantle, audio visual equipment and production, global transportation, electrical services, event communication, content development, delivery, and measurement services.
Solicits target accounts and submits timely reports as requested.
Manages future schedule of clients and solicits appropriate future business.
Prepares sales collateral and makes face to face presentations when necessary. Modifies collateral as required to close the sale.
Entertains clients as necessary.
Quotes prices and credit terms.
Attends local and state industry meetings and functions as directed.
Produces and reviews orders with planner / coordinator and branch personal.
Supervises jobs on site as required.
Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps sales.
Keeps track of travel expenses and submits travel expense reports as required.
Partners with Freeman Exposition Business Development and Client Solutions teams to meet the needs of show management.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
3 or more years of related experience.
Has proven the ability to successfully manage their own book of accounts in the profitable production of revenue opportunities totaling approximately $250k or more.
Knowledge of sales systems such as TSS and Salesforce.com is required.
Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Software applications.
Excellent customer service and organizational skills are required.
Has demonstrated consistent above average performance evaluations in previous roles.
Level requires the approval of the GM and Director.
