Assists team in resolving issues regarding practice management, clinical applications and patient satisfaction. The Manager of Physician Support requires subject matter knowledge of clinical applications and their impact and applicability to the practice flow. This position requires strong people management skills, personal drive, and the ability to see strategy through to execution in a high volume environment.Experience and Education A minimum of 5 years leadership in a multi-facility healthcare organization.Experience to include basic knowledge of health insurance plans including Medicare and MedicaidHighly skilled with full suite of Microsoft productsExperience in team leadership and direct supervision.Experience creating and leading communications with direct reports, senior leaders, business partners, vendors to ensure collaboration, efficiency, and service excellenceBachelor's degree in healthcare administration or business highly preferredEssential Duties Oversees day to day operations in patient check in/out and waiting room areas to ensure optimum patient flow, safety and communication with back office staff.Monitors, analyzes and distributes patient satisfaction data and makes suggestions for improvement.Schedules staff for appropriate coverage levels, approves timesheets and responds to employee leave requests in a timely manner.Handles escalated/complex patient issues in accordance with Institute policies and procedures.Ensure accurate patient information is collected through account audits and provide training as neededWork with management team to develop and maintain daily productivity standardsMaintain PSR policies and proceduresRound daily with providers and clinical staffParticipate and lead monthly Physician Support Staff MeetingsKey contributor to meeting and exceeding A/R goals for Patient Registration to include POS Collections and accurate insurance information is collected at time of scheduling and check-inAAP/EEO StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
