This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Ascent ResourcesEnvironmental, Health & SafetyOklahoma City, OklahomaUsing fundamental technical skills, analytical abilities, and up-to-date regulatory knowledge, to provide support for air program permitting and compliance solutions for oil and gas operations.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide air quality technical and program support for the assets and the asset-based field environmental staff.Conduct and/or assist in air permitting, permit negotiations, and permit implementation in assets being supported.Assemble permit applications, permit amendment applications, standard exemptions, and source inventories for submittal to regulatory agencies.Support Ascent Resources in establishing, documenting and maintaining standards to meet state and federal air quality requirements and update as needed.Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies of air quality reports.Maintain strong air quality compliance assurance and inspection role.Develop and maintain a strong and positive working relationship with regulatory agency staff and industry groups, as applicable.Understand existing regulations and continually review new and proposed regulations.Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesMinimum Requirements:Must have computer literacy; including basic programming, word processing, spreadsheet skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office software package.Knowledge of upstream oil and gas processes, equipment and production operations.Strong knowledge of U.S. environmental regulations in air quality permitting.Self-directed and self-motivated team player.Experience/knowledge with state of Ohio air permitting and compliance, a plus.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Education & Work Experience RequiredMinimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree (B.
