Sales & Proposal Administrator

As part of the Setpoint Team, you will be assisting in the designing and building custom automated equipment for a diverse group of businesses in a wide variety of industries.

Setpoint is looking for a Sales & Proposal Administrator. This position is the coordinator of the sales proposal process. They oversee the creation, approval, and submission of Setpoint sales proposals working cross-functionally with other teams to win the business. This person must be driven, organized, and detail-oriented to keep the team on track.

Responsibilities:

  • Input and maintain information in company CRM

  • Coordinate the creation, approval and submission of sales proposals.

  • Ensure that the process for preparing proposals is scheduled to meet the customer due date.

  • Coordinate internal/executive bid review meetings.

  • Ensure that the customer requirements and win strategy are addressed during the quote process.

  • Perform final review of proposals to ensure they are complete and meet the customer requirements.

  • Coordinate with Sales on schedule, customer concept reviews, and final submission of proposals

  • Ensure that purchase orders are reviewed, approved and executed upon receipt.

  • Administer the organization and storage of customer information and all documentation used to prepare the proposal.

  • Facilitate the successful execution of awarded projects by ensuring the transfer of information to project team.

  • Prepare and monitor metrics.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales, management, application engineers and other team members.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Understand of the sales process for automation.

  • Must be a team player with the ability to work well in a team environment

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

  • Proficient with CRM preferably Salesforce.

  • Associates degree in engineering/business field or industry experience.

  • Minimum of 4 years? experience in sales administration, technical proposal creation

Preferred:

  • Bachelor Degree in technical/business field

  • Engineering experience
