Job Summary

The Chlorine Dioxide Supervisor is primarily responsible for the overall functionality of the unit, interpreting, reading and adjusting gauges and meters, performing routine water analysis and generating solution analysis, and assuring paperwork is completed accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors chemical pumps for acceptable dosing levels

  • Records data on daily log and maintain accuracy

  • Conducts regularly scheduled walk arounds to check system integrity and chemical inventory

  • Ensures daily operations are in compliance with HSE, EPA and OSHA regulations

  • Verifies that all equipment is running properly and notifies management if there are issues

  • Maintains daily housekeeping at the work site

  • Provides customer service and detailed information to company representative

  • Performs any required preventative maintenance

  • Performs routine analytical procedures

  • Maintains quality assurance/quality control logs

  • Complies with the company-s general policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent

  • One year of related experience and/or training; or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to pass physical examination and drug screening

    Preferred Requirements

  • Prior experience in the oil and gas industry

  • Proven technical/mechanical experience

  • At least three years of progressive career growth

  • Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement

Physical Requirements

  • Light to moderate physical effort required

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Walk, reach and move about the facility on a regular basis
