SEI Operations Processing Analyst--Trust Company Operations in Oaks, Pennsylvania

Position Description

SEI has multiple entry-level openings within SEI Private Trust Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of SEI. The Operations analyst will work in the back office processing area supporting SEI clients through the banking and advisor client groups. This role requires a self-motivated, goal oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a time sensitive delivery schedule. SEI is a leading global provider of outsourced asset management, investing processing and investment operations solutions. The SEI Wealth Platform, a division of SEI (, provides total operations outsourcing solutions to global investment managers. Our primary focus is to develop services and package solutions that directly benefit asset or investment managers.


  • Reviewing, analyzing, and entering client information and transactions into multiple systems

  • Preparing and processing error-free transactions accurately and in a timely manner, according to client instructions and according to SEI procedure

  • Researching and resolving client issues

  • Adhering to the client specific SLAs, as outlined

  • Maintaining and updating data as needed and producing reports as required

  • Utilizing the operational platforms specific to the job role

  • Assisting with client implementations when necessary

  • Participating in team projects

  • Proactively recommend innovations and modifications which are in compliance with industry requirements and are consistent with corporate objectives and goals to improve operational processes, systems, policies and procedures.

Position Requirements

  • BA/BS degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or business related field; or the equivalent in education and work experience

  • Analyze and resolve problems in logical manner

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and internal/external clients.

  • Make decisions involving issues that may impact company financials, and making recommendations based upon interpreting policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.

  • Work effectively and productively with others.

  • Demonstrate effective and professional written and verbal communication skills for a business work environment

  • Effectively coordinate, perform and complete multiple duties and assignments concurrently and in a timely manner.

  • Must be willing to work effectively independently, as well as in a team, in an open floor environment

  • Previous experience in a Banking environment is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the work environment may require an individual to move around the office and from building to building which may expose the individual to weather conditions outside. The individual has to be able to sit or be stationary at a computer and use computers for extended periods of time and occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. The noise level in the environment is moderate and the individual must be able to communicate and exchange information with people in person and over the telephone and email.
