Requirements The Physical Therapist (PT) provides safe and effective physical therapy services including the evaluation of physical performance ability to persons impaired by physical illness or injury, congenital or developmental disability and/or the aging process. The PT analyzes, selects and applies goal directed interventions for the treatment or prevention of these impairments/functional limitations to achieve maximum independence. The PT has the ultimate responsibility for the provision of services including the supervision of physical therapy personnel. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Applicable assessment and treatment knowledge to provide services to various patient populations; understanding of state, federal, and professional practice laws, regulations, preferred practice patterns; above average written and verbal communication skills; flexibility and ability to manage work in a changing environment; basic proficiency with a computer keyboard; available to work weekends and holidays.Education Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an Accredited School of Physical Therapy is required (Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a accredited School of Physical Therapy preferred). Experience: 1 to 3 years of total experience required. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm; weekend/holiday rotation; 8 hour shifts; 40 hours per pay period.
