We are currently seeking a Social & Digital Content Coordinator to join our Marketing & Sales team. The Social & Digital Content Coordinator is responsible for creating and publishing content on Foxtel’s social media accounts and Foxtel Insider webpage.

They will be working directly with the Social and Digital Content Strategist to help maintain and develop the content for Foxtel’s website and social media platforms. This will involve variety of different tasks including creative writing, editing, research, website updates, social media posts and image editing

The Social & Digital Content Coordinator will also work closely with a range of internal and external marketing departments to ensure the digital experience conforms to Foxtel standards, product specifications and requirements.

Your purpose

  • Curating, publishing and monitoring Foxtel’s social media platforms to increase engagement and awareness of our key programs

  • Ad-hoc writing, editing and proof-reading of editorial content for website and social distribution

  • Managing day-to-day content uploading using the company content management system (CMS)

  • Scoping, creating and producing relevant content, as well as generating innovative ideas to attract, engage, retain and increase Foxtel’s digital audiences

  • Assisting with the design and creation of a variety of content types (image, video, writing) and ensuring they meet style, tone and marketing message requirements, as well as reflecting the Foxtel brand

  • Work with the digital and analytics teams on site and SEO performance. Identifying ways to improve and implementing solutions based on these recommendations

  • Respond to and efficiently resolve any content or technical issues related to the Foxtel social platforms and Insider webpage

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the CMS, and new website structure

  • Manage ongoing requests from internal stakeholders related to content collaborations and promotional opportunities

  • Assisting with communication and workflow requirements related to Foxtel content agencies

Your capability

  • Relevant qualifications and 2+ years’ work experience working on social media platforms and content-driven websites within a marketing environment

  • Intermediate experience with Content Management Systems (AEM desired but not essential)

  • Intermediate experience with Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop and Premiere Pro)

  • Solid SEO knowledge: optimising content for search and analytical measures

  • Excellent time management with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team

  • Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines across multiple concurrent projects

  • Great communication skills, capable of interacting with a wide range of stakeholders

  • Willingness to get involved and show initiative in a creative environment

  • Some flexibility may be required in relation to attending after hours work events
