WATTS Strategic Accounts Manager in North Andover, Massachusetts

This position is responsible for Accounts Management and Sales within all aspects to include prospecting new customers primarily in OEM Markets. Also included is the management of rep agencies throughout the accounts.


  • Manage and Oversee specific strategic accounts

  • Manage rep. agencies

  • Negotiate annual contracts with customers

  • Maintain and aggressively grow account lists

  • Sell into multiple market segments

  • Promote and educate new products within the different segments

  • Develop strong relationships with customers and rep agencies

  • Create and develop working relationships within the different departments and divisions of Watts

  • Develop and present business plans to Senior Management within Watts

  • Coordinate new product rollouts to customers while managing internal functions of the rollout

  • Analyze daily reports to effectively manage inventory and sales

  • Utilize and manage customer proprietary data bases and systems

  • Execute training throughout the field and the customer base

  • Create quotations to customers while effectively understanding the corporate direction


Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business Management or related field


Dotted line management of internal stakeholders to oversee and manage customer specific NPD and VAVE projects.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business Management or related field

  • 5-7 years retail sales experience.

  • Previous Water Controls experience preferred

  • Ability to learn Watts products.

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Strong organizational skills along with excellent oral and written communication abilities.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft office products.

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
